Tampa

The population of Tampa, Florida is approximately 392,800 making it the 3rd largest city in Florida and the 53rd largest city in the United States. Tampa is part of the metropolitan area mostly referred to as the “Tampa Bay Area” which has an approximate population of 3 .1 million. It is located on the west coast of Florida with an average annual temperature of 73.1 degrees. Tampa’s economy is founded on a diverse base that includes tourism, agriculture, construction, finance, health care, government, technology, and the Port of Tampa which is the largest port in the State of Florida. Tampa has an enormous variety of attractions and perks for the people who live in and around the city. Waterside cafes, Busch Gardens, the Florida Aquarium, Channelside shopping and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Devil Rays and Lightning are just few of the biggest attractions. Then there’s Ybor City, where visitors can find hand-rolled cigars and Cuban sandwiches. And don’t forget the ocean and the white sand beaches, which offer people the chance to participate in jet skiing, parasailing, sport fishing and boating. Every year, the Gasparilla Pirate Festival draws a huge crowd of rowdy swashbucklers.
